What is Practissimo?

Practissimo is the UK’s first live video practice coaching service to help students reach their goals while also having fun.

Used alongside your child’s music teacher, our coaching service helps to inspire your kids into learning to love practising. All instruments catered for!

Practissimo pairs your child with the perfect coach. We’ll let you know which of our coaches is the best fit for your child and you can book as many or as few 25-mins sessions as you like. Most parents choose weekly, but it can be more or less frequent.

What happens in a 25-min. coaching session?

All our coaches are trained to:

  • help your child structure their practice according to their teachers' wishes

  • give feedback and top tips for solving musical problems

  • play fun musical games to make the session end on a high, helping the child discover how to be creative in their practice

  • work on aural and sightreading if the teacher wishes

What is the effect of using Practissimo?

Our joyful, nourishing practice sessions are infectious! Your child will have increased motivation to practise independently, and they'll go back to their lesson having made more progress.

Our fully trained and vetted coaches give your child the tools they need to practise efficiently and effectively for increased confidence and accuracy.

Practissimo allows your child to thrive in-between lessons, locking in the value of your investment.

What our parents say

Caroline:

"The tutorials online have been engaging, fun and motivating and they have inspired our son to want to engage in self-motivated practice in between the sessions!"

Kristine:

"I want to take the opportunity and to say a huge thank you to the whole team for being so supportive, creative and helpful since the first day when I signed my son up. I am a non-musician Mum, however, I noticed huge benefits for him. I strongly believe that you have helped him get his distinction at grade 4!"

About us

practissimo, music practice app, music practice, music lesson, practice, piano practice, violin practice, practice app

We're on a mission to make learning an instrument easier, quicker and more self-motivating. nSpireMe Ltd was founded in 2018 by Conductor and Music Entrepreneur Stuart Barr with venture capital investment from Forward Partners. Using his experience of 6 years as conductor to Dame Shirley Bassey, a decade of teaching at the Royal Academy of Music and being Chairman of the London Youth Choir, Stuart now leads a team compelled to solve the problems of children's music practice. We want children to gain confidence, achieve dreams and have fun, and so we launched Practissimo in 2019. We're permanently recruiting for people who share our vision: please contact us via the speech bubble.
